Cara Install cPanel di VPS
Bagaimana caranya jika kita mempunyai VPS atau Private Server sendiri dan ingin menggunakan cPanel sebagai control panel hosting untuk manage VPS atau Private Server. Sebelum membahas cara install cPanel di VPS atau Private Server terlebih mari simak dahulu requirement dari cPanel berikut ini :

Perlu di ingat juga kalau ingin menggunakan cPanel kita harus membeli License Key terlebih dahulu karena jika tidak membeli License cPanel maka cPanel hanya aktif selama 30 hari untuk masa Trial.
Jika semua requirements sudah terpenuhi, selanjutnya ke tahap proses installasi cPanel.
- Requirement install cPanel
Sebelum memulai install cPanel pertama install dahulu requirement package seperti perl dan curl terlebih dahulu dengan command :
yum install -y perl curl
kemudian setting hostname pada server dengan command :
hostnamectl set-hostname host.domain.com
- Install cPanel
Setelah requirement package dan setting hostname terpenuhi selanjutnya download installer cPanel dan menjalankan installernya untuk installasi cPanel dengan command :
curl -o latest -L https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest
Kemudian akan muncul output seperti berikut ini :

Jika output proses installasi sudah selesai dan muncul tulisan `Thank you for installing cPanel & WHM 11.78!`, sampai sini proses installasi sudah berhasil dan sudah bisa diakses WHM dan cPanel
Akses WHM dan cPanel
Sebelum mengakses cPanel yang telah berhasil di install, perlu di ketahui dahulu perbedaan antara WHM dan cPanel. Apa sih WHM? WHM (Web Host Manager) adalah panel administrator yang mengatur cPanel mulai dari cara mengatur/menambahkan user, mengatur nameserver, dan lainnya. Untuk mengakses WHM biasanya menggunakan url https://ip_address:2087 atau https://host.domain.com:2087
Untuk login ke WHM username dan passwordnya menggunakan root dan root_password
Dan untuk mengakses cPanel gunakan url https://ip_address:2083 atau https://host.domain.com:2083
